With more Top Of The Pops appearances than any other band, Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt spent in excess of 417 weeks (that’s over eight accumulative years!) in the British singles charts. In 1991, the guys were awarded a Brit for their Outstanding Contribution to Music; and Rick and Francis were awarded their long-deserved OBEs in 2010. Rick sadly passed away in December 2016, while Francis continues to tour with the band, currently performing Quo classics in acoustic style.

Black Star Riders have announced a UK tour

Black Star Riders have announced a UK and Ireland tour for March 2017 with Backyard Babies, Gun and the Amorettes, to follow the release of third album Heavy Fire. The follow-up to The Killer Instinct is currently being recorded with producer Nick Raskulinecz. Guitarist Scott Gorham says: “It‘s great to be back with Nick. After such a great job on The Killer Instinct it was a no-brainer to continue the relationship. This album is going to blow everyone away.”
