Elvis Costello and The Imposters live at the Sheffield City Hall on 7th March 2020. The tour is entitled Just Trust. This superlative ensemble – Steve Nieve on keyboards, Pete Thomas on drums, and bassist and vocalist, Davey Faragher – were once again augmented by singers Kitten Kuroi and Briana Lee, all of whom were heard on the acclaimed 2018 Concord Records release, ‘Look Now,’ numbers from which will find their rightful place among the highlights from one of the most unique and renowned song catalogues in popular music.

Steve Harley live at Harrogate Theatre on 21st February 2020. Steve has been playing Live shows around the world for over 45 years and the thrill of another night in another place to another audience has not dimmed at all. “We have real adventures on tour, “says Steve. “I’ve seen the Northern Lights, the Midnight Sun and dozens of wonderful galleries, museums and great cities, all on my down-time. I have a great life as a Wandering Minstrel!” “UNCOVERED” includes a re-recording of Steve’s popular song “Love, Compared With You” with a newly composed third verse, plus eleven other songs he’s always wanted to perform. The album features Barry Wickens on viola and acoustic guitar, Oli Hayhurst on double bass, Tom Hooper on percussion and the Roots Music Legend, Martin Simpson, on guitar. Steve also sings a duet with the amazing Scottish singer, Eddi Reader. The acoustic sets for 2020 will include songs from the new CD, plus a selection from the vast and eclectic Harley Songbook. Mr Soft, Judy Teen, Sebastian and the legendary Make Me Smile will all be re-produced in the unique acoustic style.

Paul Carrack and his incredible six-piece band take to the road again for the  20/20 tour live at the York Barbican Centre on 1st February 2020. Famously nicknamed ‘The Man with the Golden Voice’ in a BBC documentary about his phenomenal career, Paul Carrack has graced many successful songs such as ‘How Long’ by ACE, ‘Tempted’ by Squeeze and the Grammy-nominated ‘Living Years’ by Mike and the Mechanics. Having returned from touring Japan and the USA as a featured instrumentalist with the Eric Clapton Band, he is eager to get back to his own set, highlighting not only the hits and collaborations with the bands such as The Eagles but also songs from his amazing back catalogue which includes seventeen solo albums.

Adam Ant live at York Barbican Centre on 14th November 2019 for his ‘Friend or Foe’ UK tour, playing his landmark ‘Friend or Foe’ album in its entirety, as well as classic chart-topping singles and personal favourites. The ‘Friend or Foe’ album was Adam’s first release as a solo artist and included three hit singles. The massive hit ‘Goody Two Shoes’ reached #1 in the UK and was #1 in Australia and hit #6 in the USA Billboard Chart. ‘Friend or Foe’, the single, was another top ten hit in the UK, while ‘Desperate But Not Serious’ was the album’s third UK smash.

Shed Seven playing live at a home county show at Leeds First Direct Arena on 7th December 2019 – their first ever headline arena show! The York five-piece just get bigger and bigger. Since rising to fame in the 90s as one of the leading lights of Britpop, Shed Seven released their first new album in 16 years ‘Instant Pleasures’ in 2017 which went top ten and achieved acclaim across the board.

OMD  live in concert at OMD – York Barbican Centre on 27th October 2019. Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) continued their 40th-anniversary celebrations with a special world tour. The show comes as part of another exciting instalment of the band’s 40th-anniversary celebrations, which first saw the reissue of their first four classic albums on 180g vinyl, housed in their original iconic sleeves designed by the legendary Peter Saville.

Lloyd Cole live in concert at Leeds Town Hall on 15th October 2019 with his ‘From Rattlesnakes to Guesswork 2019 Tour’. Guesswork mirrors the uncertainty of the world as you enter your third act, and is consistent with a record whose protagonists seem reluctant to venture confidently beyond the moment. In terms of minutes, it’s his longest, but in terms of songs, it’s shorter than any of his previous eleven solo albums (fourteen if you count those he made with The Commotions). This might come as a surprise to those who primarily remember Lloyd for the precocious literary pop dispatches of 1984’s Rattlesnakes, the debut album which earned him an unlikely place alongside Wham! and Duran Duran in the following year’s Smash Hits/Panini sticker book.

Midge Ure – The 1980 Tour, Vienna & Visage live at York Opera House on the 21st October 2019. For the first time in 40 years, the Vienna album will be performed in its entirety, alongside highlights from Visage’s eponymous debut album, all brought to life by Midge Ure and Band Electronica. Both records were co-written, recorded and produced by Midge Ure and transformed charts around the globe with the sound of the future.

Lulu live at York Barbican on October 5 for her 35-date autumn British tour. The Scottish singer, songwriter, actress and beauty-product businesswoman gave a recount stories from a career that stretches back to her signing to Decca Records at 15 and scoring a debut number seven hit with a cover of The Isley Brothers’ Shout in May 1964. Lulu’s Still On Fire show took a journey through her many decades of music in the company of a four-piece band, complemented by an LED screen with “carefully selected family and career-defining moments”.
