The Pigeon Detectives – UCI Festival, Harrogate, The Stray on 28th September 2019. The Pigeon Detectives took to the stage at to conclude the UCI Road World Championships. This Leeds-based indie rock band have been one of the county’s most popular bands over the last two decades, producing two top-10 albums, one of which (‘Wait For Me’) went platinum in the UK.

Stereophonics frontman and creative force – Kelly Jones live at the York Barbican on 14th September 2019 as part of his ‘Don’t Let The Devil Take Another Day’ solo UK tour. Heralded as one of the finest voices of his generation, Kelly Jones gave audiences a rare opportunity to see unique and intimate performances across an evening of storytelling and songcraft. Fans were delighted to see and hear some of their favourite songs in a more stripped-back environment.

The 80s Classical Show at the Millennium Square Leeds on 26th July 2019. Including some of the most iconic songs of the 80s, reworked into breath-taking new orchestral versions and performed live by the original artists. Featuring Jimmy Somerville, Howard Jones, Nik Kershaw, Johnny Hates Jazz and Carol Decker (T’Pau) together with Opera North’s 60-piece orchestra.

Sayer became a naturalised Australian citizen in 2009. Sayer was a top singles and album act on both sides of the Atlantic in the 1970s. His first seven hit singles in the UK all reached the Top 10 – a feat first registered by his one-time manager, Adam Faith. A consistently successful artist, from his first hit with “The Show Must Go On” in 1973 to the present day, Sayer has never been missing from the charts for longer than five successive years.

The Specials  live at the o2 Academy Leeds on 1st May 2019. The Specials are back with ten songs on a brand new album. Influential, important and exhilarating live, they are a band embedded in this country’s DNA. It is impossible to envisage the musical landscape without them, from the startling, angular Gangsters in 1979 to their swan song, the epoch-making Ghost Town in 1981.

Tom Chaplin live at the Harrogate Convention Centre on 27th April 2019. Keane frontman Tom Chaplin celebrated the music of Queen. Backed by the same 24-piece Leo Green Orchestra that accompanied him at The Palladium, Chaplin performed an array of hits including “Somebody To Love”, “Don’t Stop Me Now”, “Killer Queen” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” as he celebrated the life and music of one of the most enduring bands of all time.

Alfie Boe live at the Harrogate Convention Centre on 6th April 2019. Alfie is one of the best-loved vocalists of his generation and a hugely successful, multi-platinum selling artist. He has triumphed on theatre stages and in concert halls around the world and has two recent UK #1 albums under his belt for albums ‘Together’ and ‘Together Again’, made with his great friend Michael Ball. The duo also won two Classic BRIT Awards earlier this year for ‘Best Album’ and ‘Group of the Year’.

Paul Carrack live at the Harrogate Convention Centre on 23rd March 2019. Legendary Sheffield-born singer, songwriter and former front man of Ace, Squeeze and Mike & The Mechanics returns to the road with his band in early 2019, performing in 29 venues across the UK. With a back-catalogue of hits to his name including ‘How Long’, ‘Tempted’ and ‘The Living Years’, Paul’s uniquely soulful voice is a must for his millions of fans around the world. His amazing songs have been performed by some of the biggest names in music including The Eagles, Diana Ross and Tom Jones and he is constantly in demand as a session keyboardist, having recorded and toured with Elton John, Van Morrison, Roger Waters and BB King, and most recently on Eric Clapton’s world tour. Dubbed by the BBC as ‘The Man with the Golden Voice’, Paul is undoubtedly a key figure in British pop history, an all-rounded musical talent.
